DALLAS COUNTY, Texas — One person was killed and at least one other was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle crash on Interstate 20, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO).
The DCSO said the major accident on eastbound I-20 at Mountain Creek Parkway happened just a little before 3 a.m. Saturday and involved three to four vehicles. One of the vehicles overturned, according to DCSO.
DCSO said its deputies arrived to the scene and found one of the occupants died in the crash. The sheriff’s office said at least one other person was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
The cause of the crash and the identities of everyone involved in the crash was still under investigation Saturday morning, DCSO said.
The interstate reopened at approximately 7:30 a.m.
