A pair of storms this week is expected to bring several days of rain to Southern California.

LOS ANGELES (KABC) — Southern California will see a rainy week with back-to-back storms hitting the region.

When will the rain hit Southern California?

A wet Wednesday is on tap as the first storm moves through the region, bringing about one-quarter to half an inch of rain.

The National Weather Service anticipates the heaviest part of the storm to come Wednesday morning.

After Wednesday’s rain tapers off, the region will see “a brief 18-24 hour break” before a second “non-atmospheric river” storm moves in Thursday night into Friday, according to the weather service.

By Friday night, the Altadena area is projected to receive almost an inch of rain while the Pacific Palisades could get a little more than three-quarters an inch of precipitation.

The rain is expected to wind down Friday, setting up a dry weekend with some sunshine.

As far as rainfall totals beyond Wednesday, the region can expect between one-quarter to three-quarters an inch of rain Thursday and about one-quarter inch of rain Friday.
