2 people seriously injured in crash on Kennedy Expressway, police say​on February 24, 2025 at 3:27 pm

Two people were seriously injured in a three-vehicle crash early Monday morning on the Kennedy Expressway, according to Illinois State Police.

The crash occurred around 2:38 a.m. on Monday at I-90 northbound at I-94 Split, police said. Two people were transported to area hospitals with life threatening injuries.

All lanes are currently shut down for the investigation, police say. It is unclear when the lanes will reopen.
