In total, this year’s fundraising event raised $1,024,500.

SECURE’s CEO, Allen Gransch said everyone involved in the event camp together to celebrate the do-good spirit that unites the community during Stampede.

“The funds raised will have a meaningful impact on individuals and families across the country.” Gransch said.

The funds from the event will be dedicated to STARS, Classroom Champions, KidSport Calgary, and Providence.

Dr. John Froh, president and CEO of STARS said the organization is very grateful for the longtime partnership, and the new event opportunity helps ensure that STARS will be there for their next patient in need.

Classroom Champions CEO Seth Rosenzweig said their organization is thrilled to be a recipient of this year’s Stampede Charity Party.

Chairman for the board of directors of Providence Chris Dorland said the donations raised through the event will lead to the addition of one more school site in September.

“Your support is directly changing lives – allowing 180 children with severe developmental delay and disabilities, and their families, to access the early intervention services they need to thrive,” Dorland said.

KidSport Calgary CEO Kevin Webster said the support from the Stampede Charity Party will help ensure no child is left on the sidelines due to financial barriers when it comes to accessing sports.

“This collective generosity opens the door for more kids to experience the lifelong benefits of sport – from confidence and connection, to belonging and well-being,” Webster said. “We’re proud to be part of a community that steps up for local families, and we’re truly grateful for the impact this event continues to have.”
