WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan (WABC) — A 23-year-old woman was pushed into the side of a train in Washington Heights, police said.

The incident happened at the 175 Street station around 9 a.m.

Police say the woman bounced off the side of the “A” train as it was arriving before falling onto the platform.

The woman was treated for bruises to her face, hands, knees and shoulder at Mount Sinai Morningside.

Markeese Brazelis, 26, was caught and put in custody at the 181 Street station.

Brazelis — who is homeless — has two prior arrests in the subway system. On Jan. 19, he trespassed into a prohibited area of the Bergen Street station in Brooklyn. Brazelis was arrested for groping a woman on the “C” train back on Dec. 21. He was released without bail in both cases.

Brazelis was charged with assault and public endangerment.
