Chicago firefighters were called to a scene where three buildings caught fire early Friday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood, fire officials said.
Shortly after 2:30 a.m., firefighters were summoned to the 4900 block of West Medill Avenue where an apartment building and two houses were ablaze, officials said. One of the buildings was unoccupied.
The residents of the other two buildings were able to exit and no injuries were reported. A warming bus was at the scene and officials said no residents were displaced due to the fire.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
