A rollover crash in the Liberty City neighborhood sent five people to the hospital, two of whom were in “extremely critical” condition, according to Miami Fire Rescue.
It happened just after 9 a.m. Saturday at the intersection of Northwest 17th Avenue and 54th Street.
“On arrival, crews found a single car accident with a patient trapped, an ejection and multiple pedestrians that were struck by that vehicle,” an MFR spokesperson said in a news release.
Five injured victims were taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, officials said. A sixth refused treatment.
Of the three who weren’t “extremely critical,” fire officials said their conditions “ranged from serious to stable.”
Miami police are investigating the wreck.
