‘Sprinting for these’ cry shoppers as they spot adorable bow jeans in Primark – they’re cheap too

WE may be into a new year but it doesn’t look like the bow trend is going anywhere for 2025.

The girly fashion accessory was huge for AW24 and even the Princess of Wales stepped out in red Alexander McQueen coat with a black bow.

And if the high street is anything to go by at the moment, you’ll still find it hard to pass a shop without seeing bows in a store window.

From bags and shoes to cardigans and dresses, it’s still very much all about bow-tiful pieces.

You don’t have to break the bank to get the look either.

So if you’re after a cute bow piece that can take you well into spring, then you’ve come to the right place.

Primark’s latest looks include bow embellished shoulder bags, a range of hair bows from just £3 and adorable bow-tie cardigans in pretty pastel colours.

But it’s a new pair of jeans that have really got fashionistas into a frenzy this week.

Sharing a clip of the new arrival, staff at the retail giant’s Lincoln store said: “Bow my god, only £18!!”

The straight-legged mid-rise jeans have tiny white bows printed all over them, even the pockets.

And people can’t wait to get their hands on them.

The jeans aren’t on the website yet meaning shoppers can’t reserve them via click and collect, so you’ll need to be fast to grab them in your nearest store.

One fashion fan gushed: “I’m not just running. I’m sprinting for these.”

“Obsessed with these”, cried someone else.

A third admitted: “If it has a bow on it, I need it.”

“Bows are an instant buy”, echoed a fourth.

Another shopper revealed: “I am not a jean person but obsessed with bows at the moment and love these.”

Meanwhile, a sixth said: “Omg might have to convert to straight leg for those.”

Why is Primark the place to go for bargains?

JUST how does Primark do it? Continue delivering on-trend items at such incredible prices? According to bosses, it’s down to four points.

  • They “sell a lot of items” – Thanks to that, they are able to make savings by buying in bulk for their 191 UK stores
  • They “do very little advertising”
  • While their clothes offer the “latest trends”, they “don’t use expensive hangers, tags or labels”.
  • And lastly, they try to be “as efficient as possible when transporting products from factories to stores”. This includes things like asking “suppliers to pack our t-shirts so they are ready to go straight on shelf”.
