Eos & Nyx offers a tasting menu for $150, or $225 with wine pairings, with options like crudo tuna with avocado and ponzu and bruschetta with ricotta, Prosciutto di Parma and pistachio to begin, and mains like seafood tagliatelle, branzini with parsnip and trout roe, lamb chops and confit potato, and grilled fillet with smoked mushroom and bone marrow reduction. To finish, New York style cheesecake or lemon pie. Add-ons include oysters mignonette, Tsar Nicoulai caviar and black truffle.

Sultry and moody Still O.G. & Alter Ego Cocktail Club tempts with a six-course tasting menu for $125 per person; beverage pairings are extra. Courses include oyster with green aguachile, radish and cilantro; Hamachi crudo with leche de tigre and blood orange; octopus with butter beans and smoked mushrooms; and prime New York steak with hasselback potato and black truffle. Finish with chocolate soufflé with crème anglaise and raspberry.

Contemporary Turkish restaurant Meyhouse offers a romantic prix fixe at its Palo Alto and Sunnyvale locations for $130 per person, featuring Meyhouse’s signature dishes plus exclusive Valentine’s Day specials; wine pairings are also available. Rise Woodfire in Santa Clara celebrates Valentine’s weekend, Feb 14-16, with a prix fixe for $130 per couple. It includes roasted artichokes with lemony ricotta and crostini, classic Caesar salad, choice of Faroe Islands Scottish salmon and 10-oz. spitfire roasted prime rib, creamy mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and dessert choices of Basque-style cheesecake or flourless chocolate truffle cake.

ASA Los Gatos offers a special Valentine’s dinner both Friday and Saturday, Feb. 14-15, featuring crab pasta, plus slow braised beef roast with creamy polenta, roasted beets and shallots.
