EXCLUSIVE: Hoping to find a seam as an AI-powered next gen entertainment studio and management company, GRAiL has been launched by ad exec/filmmaker Davide Bianca and producer/brand expert Jeff Krelitz.

The focus will be original production, advertising and client representation in a specific lane: the rapidly expanding medium of film makers advancing storytelling using AI in all platforms.

A computer scientist and creative technologist specializing in generative AI and rising star in the AI filmmaking world, Bianca had been Chief Creative Officer of creative and production agency BCN Visuals. He co-directed the first globally broadcast AI commercial  for Coca-Cola late last year, titled Holidays Are Coming. Krelitz is a producer and the former Heavy Metal Magazine CEO. Joining GRAiL’s advisory board are veteran producers Adrian Askarieh (Hitman) and State Street partner Bob Teitel (Bob Marley: One Love).

“Davide and Jeff’s holistic vision for GRAiL and their prime directive of always having the artist in control of the AI tool made them stand apart, and also made it feel like a fresh and exciting venture to be involved with,” Askarieh said. Teitel said he was “excited to work with Davide and Jeff on this new venture. Helping creatives and filmmakers tell their stories through this exciting and rapidly emerging new AI process is going to benefit storytellers from all corners of the entertainment business.

GRAiL’s rep roster starts with AI filmmakers including Davide Bianca (Coca-Cola – Holidays Are Coming, ZERO Shot), Kavan The Kid (Star Wars – The Ghost Apprentice, Those Who Remain), PhantomX (Spiral, Time Vice), Kim Landers (LEADS, Nox), Aashay Singh (Veil, Multiverse of Mine), Guido Callegari (HARU G-16, DockRidge), Ryan Patterson (Final Round, Sacred Mountain), Alexandre Tissier (Echoes Of Regret, Mindlift), Jan-Willem Bloom (The Obsidian Rift, Bibot Saves Christmas) and Rogier Hendriks (Hollow – Caterpillar, Within Temptation – Raise Your Banner).

Krelitz said the venture is “creating a new model for creators, performers and storytellers to come together”, said Krelitz. “Being inclusive and respectful of performers and their concerns during this rapid acceleration of creative ability is a priority for us. The more inclusive we are with talent on every level as the ai story telling space grows will make for more interesting content across all mediums. We’re fortunate to be on the bleeding edge of this new era.”

At the core of GRAiL’s capabilities is “Delray”, a proprietary end-to-end production pipeline. Delray combines a full stack of AI modules to seamlessly support every stage of production, from ideation and look development to the integration of performance capture, motion, grading, and deep compositing. It is a true end-to-end environment designed to streamline the creative process. What sets Delray apart is its integration of predictive behavior and sentiment analysis, enabling us to iteratively refine content in real-time. GRAiL, which is privately funded, is already working with a slew of global brands in the advertising space, and on the scripted content side is in pre-production on an animated series based on Pete Townsend’s graphic novel (released last year by Image Comics), Life House, the rock opera The Who intended to be the follow to Tommy. Ultimately, elements of Life House became the band’s multi-platinum selling 1971 album, Who’s Next, which featured the hits Baba O’Reilly and Won’t Get Fooled Again. They’ll be part of he original Life House score.
