HUNDREDS of people queued up at an Irish store for a tiny limited-edition €30 toy that flew off shelves in under 30 minutes.
Jellycat’s limited edition Siofra the Shamrock was available at Dublin’s Brown Thomas for just 27 minutes, leaving disappointed shoppers crying “already sold out”.

Founded in 1999, the company quickly became popular worldwide for its quirky designs and plush fabrics.
The brand offers a wide range of products, from classic teddy bears to more unusual animals like llamas and sloths.
The company also produces books and accessories, all following the same playful aesthetic and can be found in retailers worldwide – including Brown Thomas.
And Jellycat’s latest release, Siofra the Shamrock, launched with a bang with hundreds of people queuing up at Brown Thomas on Grafton Street to get their hands on one.
The limited edition toy was so highly coveted that it sold out in just 27 minutes online.
Fans from the UK and beyond flocked to the store for the exclusive toy that was released just in time for St Patrick’s Day.
Siofra Shamrock is a plush clover with three soft leaves, a smiling face, a stem tail and chocolate cord boots – all crafted with Jellycat’s signature cuddly style.
However, Brown Thomas will be receiving daily deliveries of the limited edition character throughout the week so fans still have a chance to get one.
A giant version of Siofra Shamrock is also on display in-stores, offering visitors opportunities to take photos with it.
Brown Thomas said they are excited to let customers experience Siofra and take home a piece of “Irish charm”.
The store added: “Siofra Shamrock is a very special addition to the Jellycat family, and we are delighted to offer it as a world exclusive.
“The Jellycat collection brings joy to so many, it’s exciting to launch a character that celebrates Irish heritage in such a playful and endearing way.

Jellycat’s designs have developed a cult following among collectors, and limited edition toys can go for ten times the price on online selling platforms like Ebay.

And this collectible character has already become a must-have with fans.
Collectors took to social media to share their disappointment with it being sold out.
One person wrote: “It’s already sold out. I can’t believe it.”
Another commented: “Please restock them.”
One lucky shopper who managed to nab some couldn’t contain their excitement.
They said: “I was one of the first in the door and snagged two little Siofra Shamrocks.
“It was a little chaotic at the open but after a little while it died down.
“The queue this morning was almost halfway down Grafton Street!
“It was very exciting and I’m so happy that Ireland got an exclusive jellycat.”
