Peet currently stars opposite Jon Hamm in the Apple TV+ series Your Friends and Neighbors, which premiered April 11 and secured a second season renewal ahead of its debut. Up next, she stars in Matthew Shear’s Fantasy Life alongside Alessandro Nivola and Zosia Mamet, a performance for which she received the Special Jury Award for Best Actress at this year’s SXSW. The film also received the Narrative Feature Audience Award at the festival.

Peet’s career spans film, television, and theater. In addition to her work in front of the camera, she created, wrote, and executive produced the Netflix limited series The Chair, starring Sandra Oh and Jay Duplass. She is also an accomplished playwright. Manhattan Theatre Club produced her debut play, The Commons of Pensacola, which starred Blythe Danner and Sarah Jessica Parker. Her follow-up, Our Very Own Carlin McCullough, premiered at the Geffen Playhouse in Los Angeles.
