Virginia State Police have issued an Amber Alert following the reported abduction of a 15-year-old girl by her half-brother in Richmond late Wednesday night.

According to the Henrico County Police Department, Ronique Channel Poteat was forcibly taken from a residence in Newbridge Terrace by Tyrell Ashley Davenport, 23, at approximately 11:10 p.m. Wednesday.

Davenport fled the scene with Poteat in a 2006 Honda Accord. Although the vehicle has since been located, specific details regarding its discovery were not disclosed by the Virginia State Police.
