Asian American Coalition of Chicago Lunar New Year celebration​on January 31, 2025 at 9:20 pm

CHICAGO (WLS) — Wednesday marked the start of Lunar New Year, one of the most important holidays in Asian culture. The celebration goes on for weeks.

Here in our area — the Asian American Coalition of Chicago is planning a huge Lunar New Year Celebration next month.

AACC president Martino Tangkar and executive producer Irene Cualopino joined ABC7 to talk about the celebration and what to expect

The will also be announcing the recipient of this year’s Pan Asian American Ping Tom Memorial
