Flood and severe weather warnings remain current for Queensland and New South Wales, despite ex-Tropical Cyclone Alfred being downgraded to a tropical low. Mick Logan, from the the Bureau of Meteorology, said rivers are rising and flooding is occurring across many of the rivers and creeks across the mid-north coast and northern rivers.
