Notre Dame-Belmont’s Allison Lui pitched a complete game in a 3-1 win over Notre Dame-San Jose, allowing just an unearned run and hitting a single to key NDB’s three-run rally in the top half of the seventh inning. She walked just one NDSJ batter and struck out 13.
Notre Dame-Belmont softball player Allison Lui is the Bay Area News Group girls athlete of the week for April 7-12.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Lui finished with 45.69% of the votes. Capuchino softball player Lola Sierra finished second with 35.55%.
