The Smith government is not putting a separatist referendum on a ballot but the smart money, called smart for a reason, says Smith is going to make it easier for Albertans to put the question on the ballot.

There will be fewer names needed on a petition to get a vote on a question and a longer period of time will be given to get people signed up.

Sadly, if this election is a preview of coming attractions there will be little to no smartening up and this real-life movie could turn out to be quite the horror show.
