EXCLUSIVE: Bill Camp (Zero Day), Rachel Hilson (Duster), Tyler Lofton (The Sky Is Everywhere), and Rory Scovel (You’re Cordially Invited) have boarded Amazon MGM Studios’ courtroom comedy starring Will Ferrell and Zac Efron, which is now officially titled Judgment Day.
Character details for the four newcomers are under wraps. The film follows a young convict (Efron) fresh out of prison who takes a reality TV courtroom hostage, blaming the megalomaniac TV judge (Ferrell) for a past ruling that the convict feels ruined his life.
As previously announced, the cast also includes Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Jimmy Tatro, Michael Peña, Fortune Feimster, Billy Eichner, Bobby Cannavale, and Regina Hall.

Nicholas Stoller, the comedy veteran behind titles like Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors, is directing from his own script. He’ll also produce for his Stoller Global Solutions, alongside Will Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, and Alex Brown for Gloria Sanchez Productions.
An Emmy, SAG, and Tony Award nominee, Camp has most recently been seen playing CIA director Jeremy Lasche in the Netflix political thriller Zero Day. Upcoming, he’ll be seen in Netflix’s dark comedy limited series Sirens, Kelly Reichardt’s Cannes-bound art heist film The Mastermind, the third season of HBO’s The Gilded Age, and A24 and StudioCanal’s revenge thriller Huntington.
Soon to be seen starring in Max’s Duster, from J.J. Abrams and LaToya Morgan, Hilson’s past credits include the Emmy-nominated film Red, White & Royal Blue for Amazon MGM Studios, the Hulu series Love, Victor, and NBC’s hit drama series This Is Us.
Previously, Lofton has been seen in A24’s The Sky Is Everywhere, horror anthology V/H/S/99, and Angel Studios’ Homestead, which led to a recurring role in a companion series. Additional TV credits include Love, Victor, Grown-ish, S.W.A.T., The Winchesters, Station 19, and most recently Dexter: Original Sin and the hit Max series The Pitt.
Actor and comedian Scovel reunites with the Judgment Day team after appearing alongside Reese Witherspoon and Ferrell in Amazon MGM’s romantic comedy You’re Cordially Invited, directed by Stoller. Also recently seen in Netflix’s ensemble dark comedy No Good Deed, his latest comedy special, Rory Scovel: Religion, Sex and a Few Things in Between, can currently be streamed on Max.
