In a video shot last month that has now gone viral, the Ghostbusters star is seen walking away with another man right behind him near an escalator at the theatre.
The man appears to trip Murray from behind, prompting the actor to spin around and admonish the fan.
“Stop it!” Murray said, while pointing his finger in the man’s face.
“You attack me like that again, I’ll step on your foot.”
The 74-year-old was ushered away by security but Murray continued to berate the fan, accusing him of “physical assault.”
The Lost in Translation actor added: “Don’t do that. You’re not big enough to do that.”
The fan could be heard repeatedly apologizing in the video, which has more than 1.8 million views on TikTok.

The clip of the incident emerged days after Murray sparked outrage when he forcibly kissed Naomi Watts during their joint appearance on Monday’s episode on Watch What Happens Live!’s.
The pair were promoting their new film The Friend, which comes a decade after their first project together, St. Vincent.
Watts was asked to name her “best onscreen kiss,” but before she could answer, Murray leaned over, tipped the actress’ head back and planted one on his co-star’s lips.
Murray then gave a thumbs-up to the camera.
“You’ve got lipstick on your face,” Watts said, shaking her head and pointing to Murray’s mouth before she asked: “OK. Did I go red?”
Murray replied, “That was too easy.”
Watts regained her composure and answered the fan’s kiss question, naming her husband, Billy Crudup.

Murray was slammed online for his “horrifying” and “disrespectful” behaviour.
“Bill Murray‘s appearance on WWHL tonight was … something,” one person wrote on X.
“Between calling Naomi Watts a little girl to grabbing and kissing her without notice,” they continued.
“I’ve been a fan as long as I can remember but it was rough to watch.”
