Boxing legend George Foreman has died.
The news was confirmed by his family on Friday evening, posting the following on social media:
“Our hearts are broken. With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr. who peacefully departed on March 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones.”
Foreman was 76 years old.
The two-time heavyweight champion fought in some of the biggest and most memorable fights during his career, including the “Rumble in the Jungle” against Muhammad Ali.
