A 37-year-old man and a four-year-old boy died following a two-vehicle crash in Brisbane’s east on Sunday morning.
Emergency services responded to reports of a crash in Ransome just before 9am.
Police confirmed a blue Holden Commodore and red Mitsubishi Lancer travelling on Rickertt Road collided at the intersection with Chelsea Road.
The driver of the Holden, a 37-year-old Manly West man, died at the scene.

The four-year-old boy, a passenger in the Holden, was taken to the Queensland Children’s Hospital with life-threatening injuries but has since died.
The driver and sole occupant of the Mitsubishi, a 29-year-old Birkdale man, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment.
Images of the crash appear to show the vehicles T-boned at the intersection, with the Holden badly damaged.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating and police have urged anyone with information or relevant footage to get in contact.
