Provincial police in the Upper Ottawa Valley have been busy over the last few days with two driving incidents.

The crashes resulted in a few arrests, but there were no serious injuries.

On Thursday, police received a traffic complaint in Pembroke and, after a short search, tracked down a suspect on Stuart Street. Police interviewed the man and transported him to the  detachment for testing.

His driver’s licence was suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday OPP charged a driver after a collision on Highway 17.

Just before 10 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Highway 17 and Sawmill Road. There were no injuries as a result of the collision.

One driver was transported to the detachment for testing.

On Tuesday,, OPP charged a driver following a traffic stop in  Pembroke.

The incident occurred Oct. 4 at 10 p.m., when police stopped at driver for a traffic infraction.

The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. They were released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on Nov. 4.
