WestJet’s annual April Fools prank poked fun at people’s social media flexing while on vacation. They pitched a program that would allow vacationers to up their flex game to post their pictures on billboards so even ‘vegans’ and ‘geologists’ will know about your fabulous vacation.

Calgary Flames fan group, FlamesNation, posted on their X account to it’s over 18,000 followers that the new Scotia Place arena will be the shape of a cowboy boot, but was quickly called out as an April Fools’ prank.

Not to be outdone, the OilersNation posted that the Edmonton Oilers will be charging extra for games that go into overtime, so they can discount games that finish in regular time.

Strides Running Shop in Calgary poked fun at people’s shoe collections, offering a shoe storage service and additional cleaning service (an employee with a bucket of water and scrub brush) for those with loved ones who are sick and tired of their shoes piled up at the front door.
