A Calgary man is facing charges after he shared intimate photos while working at a local rehabilitation care facility.

In January, Calgary police launched an investigation after they were notified by a staff member that the suspect was believed to have intimate photos on his cellphone of one of the care facility’s clients without the client’s knowledge.

During the investigation, police also found that the suspect was in possession of an intimate video of himself and an adult woman, and that he was sharing the video without the woman’s consent. The woman is not a client of the care facility.

On March 24, police executed a search warrant in the 8500 block of 8A Avenue S.W. and charged 27-year-old Kyle Lozano with one count of voyeurism and two counts of distributing intimate images without consent.

Lozano is scheduled to appear in court on May 6.
