All totalled, the nine squads competing at nationals from the city brought home a trio of medals, highlighted by the Under-16 AA Riot with a dramatic victory.

“AA Ringette Calgary is incredibly proud of our nine outstanding AA teams across the U14, U16, U19, and NRL levels,” said AA Ringette Calgary president Brad Kane. “Their performances at the 2025 Canadian Ringette Championships and the Western Canadian Ringette Championships, collecting four medals and a national championship, were a true reflection of the dedication, talent and teamwork that define our program.

The Riot won the national title Saturday on a goal by Asia Mitchell off a rush scored with just 12.4 seconds left in regulation. Her far-side shot was the winner in a 3-2 gold-medal triumph over the Calgary Edge, who were at nationals as Team Alberta after winning provincials in February.

So the Edge bring home silver medals.

That gold-medal game at nationals was a rematch of the provincial final won by the Edge.

The Calgary FUZE also participated in the U16 bracket.

Also picking up medals in Ottawa was the Calgary U19 AA Bold, which earned bronze after a 5-2 win Saturday over Equipe Québec.

The Calgary RATH finished 1-2 in the National Ringette League Championship.

And at the 2025 Western Canadian Ringette Championships in March, Calgary U14 AA Blue collected bronze medals.
