Library love

The Friends of the Campbell Library continue their “Love Our Library” campaign with a book sale on Saturday, March 1, 10 a.m.-1 p.m., on the patio next to the Campbell Express Library. In addition to books for all ages, there will be a variety of puzzles, games, CDs and DVDs. Donations of items for this and future book sales can be dropped off at the Campbell Express Library during regular hours.

The Friends are looking to raise $250,000 through their campaign, with proceeds going toward enhancements for the new Campbell Library, including items for the community room, study spaces, and children’s and teens’ areas.

Special fundraisers include a vintage jewelry sale in the lobby of the Orchard City Banquet Hall, 1 W. Campbell Ave., on Wednesday, March 5, 5-8 p.m. Donations of jewelry for the sale can be dropped off at the Campbell Express Library through Feb. 28.

Ongoing online fundraisers include canvas tote bag and See’s Candies sales. Gifts of $250 or more are publicly recognized on the Friends website, and gifts of $500 or more will be acknowledged on a permanent donors’ wall in the new library.
The Campbell Express Library is located in room E46 at the Campbell Community Center. For more information, visit https://www.campbellfol.org.
