Bild Edmonton Metro, a recent amalgamation of CHBA-Edmonton Region and UDI-Edmonton Metro, just released its list of finalists for the 2025 Awards of Excellence in Housing, with Cantiro picking up 28 nominations in a variety of categories from best advertising to industry leadership, safety excellence, best new community, best multi-family, best townhome, best sales and best single-family home. Last year it picked up 16 finalist spots.

The Calgary expansion adds to Cantiro’s ventures outside of the Edmonton marketplace. It also has multi-family offerings in the Kitchener/Waterloo area in Ontario, a collection of luxury single-family homes on Kalamalka Lake in the Okanagan and is building single-family homes in West Hawk in Cochrane, a community it is also developing.

Cantiro’s first project in Calgary, Arbour Lake West, a collection of 136 one- and two-bedroom stacked townhomes and three-bedroom, three-storey townhomes with attached garages, is well underway with roads paved, services in, foundations on 36 of the homes poured and framing begun in the established community of Arbour Lake in Calgary’s northwest.
