Chicago weather: Moderate temps expected Monday, more snow possible lateron March 16, 2025 at 7:50 pm

The Chicago area is expected to see moderate temperatures and potential storms next week as snow begins to taper off Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

As the snow starts to ease up, Chicagoans can look forward to warmer temperatures Monday and Tuesday. Monday is expected to see highs around 50 to 55 degrees, while Tuesday may see highs in the low-to-mid 60s, said Zachary Yack, a meteorologist with the National Weather Service.

Wednesday will see similar temperatures in the low 60s but may also see some rain and thunderstorms.

Yack said that there may also be potential for that rain to turn into snow Wednesday, particularly during the evening into Thursday morning.
