Jessica Alba’s life may be all glitz and glamour now, but the actress went through a seriously distressing ordeal when she was fifteen.
Many of her fans will be shocked to hear that the star was kidnapped as a teenager while filming in Australia. The story has recently resurfaced and has been doing the rounds on social media.
Jessica has never spoken publically about the traumatic ordeal, but seeing as the star is famously private about her personal life, it comes as no surprise.
The incident happened in the spring of 1996. Jessica was fifteen at the time and was staying in Australia to film for the movie Flipper.
She mysteriously disappeared without a trace for fourteen hours, before being found tied up and gagged in the boot of a car, miles away from the set.
The shocking case was never solved as police were unable to identify any leads. However, the star had been reviewing a host of unsettling calls prior to the kidnapping that may have been linked.
Jessica’s fans were shocked to hear about the kidnapping almost three decades later. ‘Oh, wow. That is creepy,’ one person wrote, while another said: ‘Does she ever talk about this? This is the first time I’m hearing this. This is wild.’
‘I’m shocked Jessica Alba’s kidnapping case remains unsolved up to this day,’ a third person said.
Jessica has been in the news lately as she recently separated from her husband Cash Warren after almost 17 years together. She first met the film producer in 2004, while filming Fantastic Four.
They went on to tie the knot in a Los Angeles wedding in May 2008. The former couple share three kids together, two daughters named Honor and Haven and a son, named Hayes.
