Chicago police were involved i a shooting in an assisted-living facility in the 1400-block of East 75th Street Grand Crossing Monday morning.
CHICAGO (WLS) — COPA is investigating a shooting involving an on-duty Chicago police officer in an assisted living facility in the Grand Crossing neighborhood Monday morning.
The shooting took place around 3 a.m. inside an assisted living facility around 3 a.m. Grand Regency of Jackson Park in the 1400-block of East 75th Street. Sources said the shooting occurred on the fifth floor.

The facility’s website says it is for adults ages 22 to 64 with physical disabilities who need assistance.
COPA is also investigating a separate shooting involving an off-duty officer in the Roseland neighborhood Monday morning.
Further details were not immediately available.
