Coppell-based Salad and Go has hired former Krispy Kreme CEO Mike Tattersfield to serve as its next chief executive. He replaces former CEO Charlie Morrison, also the former president and CEO of Wingstop, who stepped down in November 2024 after a disagreement with board members on strategy, Restaurant Business reported. Morrison still remains a large shareholder.
Tattersfield, who is now a minority owner of the brand, comes from serving at the helm of Charlotte, North Carolina-based Krispy Kreme for nearly a decade. He led the doughnut chain through a spinoff from German-based JAB Holding Company with an IPO in 2021.
He also previously served as president and CEO of Caribou Coffee Company and Einstein Noah Restaurant Group. Additionally, Tattersfield also served as president at Yum! Brands and is the former COO of Lululemon.
