Greens were damaged and Palestinian flags placed within the grounds of a Donald Trump-owned golf resort in an act of vandalism described as “childish” by management.
The attack on the golf resort in Doonbeg Co Clare took place at some point between 5pm and midnight on Wednesday.
In a statement, the club said it is working to fix the damage, which included a number of holes dug on two of the greens.
Palestinian flags were placed within the grounds, RTÉ is reporting.
“This was a childish, criminal act but the incredible team at Trump Doonbeg will ensure it does not impact business,” the club said.
