President Donald Trump attracted major donations for his administration’s second inauguration fund from Dallas-Fort Worth companies such as Toyota North America and Hillwood Development Co.

Trump raised a record $239 million for his inauguration, fueled by a range of corporate donors across the country, many of which are either headquartered in Dallas-Fort Worth or have major operations in the area.

Some of the biggest corporate donors of the Trump-Vance Inauguration Fund in Dallas-Fort Worth include Dallas-based Hillwood Development Co., Plano-based Toyota North America Inc. and Irving-based Caterpillar Inc., according to data from the Federal Election Commission.

In Texas, 86 people and companies donated, totaling $19.73 million to the Trump-Vance Inauguration Fund, according to data from the Federal Election Commission. Of those donations, about 30 hailed from the DFW area, amounting to about $5.78 million.
