Luke Baker guest starred as Paramedic Skinner[/caption]
Some viewers swooned over Paramedic Skinner (Luke Baker), who attempted to help the beloved character.
On Instagram, Luke shared a message from a real-life nurse – who had spotted a blunder in Martin’s final scenes.
She penned: “The challenges of watching @bbceastenders live as a nurse who lives theatre.
“You spend too long wondering why Martin’s observations do not change at all.”
The heartbreaking situation came about after a huge explosion tore through the Queen Vic.
Martin heroically stayed to rescue his ex-wife Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), who had been trapped in the aftermath.
Ultimately, he ended up with one of his legs crushed underneath a steel bar.
The live episode saw Martin given morphine while firefighters tried removing the beam.
He and Stacey declared their love for one another – as the stall owner declared he wanted to marry her again.
But as they spoke about their lives and futures – in or away from Walford, Stacey realised something was wrong.
Speaking privately to Paramedic Skinner, he informed her about the severity of Martin’s condition.
Once the beam was lifted, his body would be flooded with toxins and advised she should say what she wants to say.
Stacey couldn’t bring herself to tell Martin what was happening, but he realised.
He chose to tell her what he’d say at their wedding, telling her: “No pressure but I have loved this woman since the very first moment I saw her.
