The event takes place from April 18 to 20 during Zoo hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Easter egg hunt for dogs

Thousands of colourful eggs will be hidden around Calaway Park’s south field, filled with prize tokens and a dog treat. Leashed dogs will search for the eggs with the assistance of their humans, and each dog participant will receive a gift bag. All funds raised from the event through pledges will support National Service Dogs programs. The Easter egg hunt runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Good Friday.

The Calgary Farmers Market is transforming for Easter weekend, offering egg painting, photo opportunities, a colouring contest and more. There will be prizes available throughout the day, including money for the market, vendor discounts and other market prizes.
