The house fire started before 5 a.m. at a house at Waveland and Marmora avenues, Chicago fire officials said.
CHICAGO (WLS) — A fast-moving fire damaged two homes in Portage Park on Monday morning.
Chopper 7 was over the scene as dozens of Chicago firefighters battled a house blaze at Waveland and Marmora avenues in the Portage Park neighborhood.
The fire started just before 5 a.m., Chicago fire officials said.
Everyone was able to get out safely.
Chicago dire officials said it took more than 100 firefighters to battle the blaze.
The CTA said #91 Austin buses were temporarily rerouted via Austin, Irving Park, Central, Addison and Austin.
