Flood Watch issued for Miami-Dade, Broward counties​on July 14, 2025 at 1:24 pm

A Flood Watch has been issued Monday for Miami-Dade and Broward counties.

According to the National Weather Service, the flood watch is in effect from Monday afternoon through Monday evening.

Flooding is possible due to expected excessive rainfall. Forecasters say excessive runoff may result in flooding of roadways, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

In Fort Lauderdale, the city provides vehicle storage for residents during flood watches or warnings at the following locations:

City officials say the vehicles may remain parked at those locations for up to 24 hours after the advisory ends.
