Gabriel Luna Joins ‘The Terminal List’ As Freddy Strain In Season 2 Of Amazon Series​on March 11, 2025 at 6:00 pm

Gabriel Luna has been tapped as the biggest cast addition for the upcoming second season of Prime Video‘s action thriller The Terminal List, headlined and executive produced by Chris Pratt.

Created by David DiGilio, The Terminal List‘s first season was based on Jack Carr’s novel of the same name about Lieutenant Commander James Reece (Pratt). Season 2 is drawing from Carr’s book True Believer.

Luna will recur as a fan favorite character from the book. Former SEAL Team 6 Senior Chief and current officer with CIA’s Ground Branch, Freddy Strain (Luna) is a man of two worlds – equal parts elite sniper and dedicated family man. His belief that James Reece survived the events of The Terminal List S1 will pull the ‘Most Wanted Man on the Planet’ out of hiding and back into the fray. Reece shows Freddy that desperate times can call for operating outside the lines, while Freddy’s commitment to family, country, and cause will help guide Reece on his path to redemption.

Season 2 of The Terminal List is executive produced by Pratt through Indivisible Productions, DiGilio, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick through Hill District Media, author Carr, former Army Ranger Max Adams, and former Navy SEAL Jared Shaw. The Terminal List is a co-production from Amazon MGM Studios and Civic Center Media, in association with MRC.

Best known for his role as Ghost Rider/Robbie Reyes in the ABC-Marvel series Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Luna will next be seen in a starring role in sci-fi horror film The Astronaut, which premiered just days ago at SXSW. He’s also set to reprise his role as Tommy Miller in Season 2 of the hit HBO drama series The Last of Us. He is currently in production on Peacock’s limited series Devil in Disguise: John Wayne Gacy, which is inspired by a 2021 Peacock docuseries of the same name. He’s repped by UTA, Entertainment 360 and Ziffren Brittenham.
