Hazmat crews were dispatched to mitigate the leak, prompting intermittent traffic closures along A1A and North Birch Road, according to FLFR.

Authorities advised drivers to avoid the area while emergency crews worked to contain the situation.

Cellphone video of the response, obtained by Local 10 News, shows firefighters securing the scene and directing traffic in the area.

No injuries have been reported, and authorities are working to determine the cause of the leak.
