The New York Giants are about as far as you can get from a Super Bowl these days unless, of course, you factor in the presence of Saquon Barkley, who is a member of the NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles.
Giants fans don’t hold anything against Barkley for leaving for greener pastures last March when he signed with the Eagles in free agency. In fact, many Giant fans will be rooting for him.
One such person is former Giants running back Brandon Jacobs, who took to social media to state that he’s behind the former Giant all the way, despite playing for the hated Eagles.
Saquon deserves this one. Unfortunately it’s for the Eagles so I am rooting for him. We’ve built a good relationship over the years so I am riding with my dog @saquon

Jacobs, a two-time Super Bowl winner with Big Blue, has been around the Giants quite a bit since retiring in 2014. The Giants drafted Barkley in 2018 and he spent six years with them.
Jacobs is fifth on the Giants’ career rushing yards list (5,087) and Barkley is fourth with 5,211 yards. Jacobs leads all Giants in rushing touchdowns with 60 while Barkley had 35.
Former Giants quarterback Daniel Jones and wide receiver Sterling Shepard will also be among those rooting for Barkley and the Eagles in two weeks.
