Giants’ Malik Nabers a finalist for AP Offensive Rookie of the Year​on January 23, 2025 at 2:28 pm

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers has been named a finalist for the Associated Press NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Nabers, the sixth overall selection in the 2024 NFL draft out of LSU by the Giants, caught 109 passes — a record for receptions by an NFL rookie wide receiver. It was also a Giants’ franchise single-season record.

Nabers is joined in the category for the award by four other rookies: Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix, and Jacksonville Jaguars wideout Brian Thomas Jr.

Daniels, Thomas, and Nabers were all teammates in college at LSU.

The winner will be announced and presented at the NFL Honors ceremony on Thursday, February 6 at 9:00 p.m. ET at the Saenger Theatre in New Orleans.

The event, which will be hosted by Snoop Dogg, will air on FOX and NFL Network and stream on NFL+.
