The Ottawa Police Service issued a missing person notice for 13-year-old Bella Piercey on Thursday.

A media release in early evening said Piercey had last been seen in the afternoon in the 400 block of Smyth Road.

She was described as White, standing about five feet five inches tall with a slim build, medium-length brown hair and brown eyes.

She was also said to have been wearing a grey crop-top sweater and black pants.
