Some soon-to-be brides may find it stressful to find their dream dress, but not Laura Fox! The 2FM presenter had ‘the best day’ trying on dresses with her bride squad on Sunday.
Laura made the journey to Belfast over the weekend in search of her dream wedding gown, and she just may have found the perfect bridal shop to find it. She was joined by her best pals Rae and Amy, to give her their thoughts on the dreamy dresses.
The ladies treated themselves to first class tickets on the train on the day, to soften the blow of being up so early on a Sunday morning. The girls appeared to have the best time, going for drinks before heading to Verona Bridal in the capital.
‘Prosecco starting to taste like I’m buying the first dress I’m trying,’ Laura joked. If the lunch is anything to go by, the hen party is sure to be a wild one!
The Galway native shared a snap posing in a gorgeous corseted dress, praising the store. ‘I swear to God, the set up is gorgeous, the dresses are exactly what I’m after and we had the best time,’ she said. ‘Girls, I LOVE wedding dress shopping.’
While the presenter clearly had an amazing time, it appears she didn’t secure her dream wedding day look just yet. This may be down to the fact that she was missing two very important people, her bridesmaids, RTÉ co-worker Emma Power, and Heather Fox.
Laura asked all four ladies to be part of her wedding party in the most creative way. She called in help from a list of famous faces to ask the girls to be her bridesmaids.
Among them was her good friend Arthur Gourounlian, Below Deck star Hannah Ferrier, Desperate Housewives actor James Denton, and Gavin and Stacey’s Steffan Rhodri. Hilarious!
Laura and her fiancé Brian Moran still haven’t publicly confirmed when they are set to tie the knot, but we do know the lovebirds were on such a high after getting engaged that they instantaneously booked their wedding venue.
After nearly a decade together, Brian got down on bended knee to pop the question to his longtime love while they were enjoying a romantic holiday in Tenerife in August 2023.
We can’t wait to see the dress she chooses to wear on her big day!
