The westbound lanes of Highway 401 are closed in Milton due to a single vehicle crash overnight.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to the highway at Regional Road 25 just before 1 a.m. for reports of a serious collision in the area.
No details on whether anyone was injured in the crash have been released, but police did say there were multiple people in the vehicle.
OPP told 680 NewsRadio around 5 a.m. that the closure was expected to last a few more hours so motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.
