This year’s Tony Award nominations will be announced by previous Tony winners Sarah Paulson (Appropriate) and Wendell Pierce (Death of a Salesman) on CBS Mornings on May 1.

The Tony Awards are produced in collaboration with Tony Award Productions, a joint venture of the American Theatre Wing and The Broadway League, and White Cherry Entertainment. Ricky Kirshner and Glenn Weiss are executive producers and showrunners for White Cherry. Weiss will serve as director.

Several Hollywood heavy hitters could be receiving nominations in 2025, putting them that much closer to EGOT (Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony) status. The 78th annual Tony Awards will air live on CBS from Radio City Music Hall in New York on Sunday, June 8 (8–11 p.m. ET and 5–8 p.m. PT).
