Calgary police are investigating human remains that were found in Edworthy Park on Monday evening.

Officers arrived at the park in northwest Calgary after receiving reports from pedestrians at around 8:30 p.m. and soon confirmed the remains were human.

Investigators from the Medical Examiner’s office and the CPS Homicide Unit were also dispatched to the scene. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
