A DELIGHTED Irish shopper has found the perfect garden bargain in Lidl – and said “you need it”.
The famous middle aisle in the popular shop has been keeping punters delighted recently.

With summer just around the corner, shoppers are on the hunt for bargains that will get their garden in tip-top shape.
And now happy customer Chelsey, who goes by @sincerelychelseyh on TikTok, has shared her bargain find.
She recently took to social media to rave about a new hose that’s just landed in the middle aisle.
The Parkside Garden Hose set can now be found in Lidl locations around the country.
And Chelsey was thrilled with the buy, urging followers to go and make the purchase themselves.
Taking to TikTok, she posted a video showing what the hose can do.
Chelsey explained: “I’m going to be such an Irish mammy now for a moment, just let me have my moment because, when I tell you, you need to get to Lidl and buy this hose if you don’t already have one; it’s magical, I swear to God.
“It was €15, I got it yesterday because I need a hose to water my flowers, but my tap is very far back to where my flower bed actually is.
“Anyway, look what I bought — and not just that, it changes; so you have your thing, and then you turn it.
“I’m going to switch that off now because we’re not about wasting water, but anyway, it switches on, switches off, has that little attachment — all comes with it for €15 in Lidl’s middle aisle at the moment.
“I’m telling you, it goes up to about 30 metres—the best hose I’ve ever used.
“I swear, the last couple of days I’m like, ‘What has my life come to?’ I really do feel like a mammy at the moment—the washing is out, I’m getting my flower bed done, and I’m ranting about a hose.”
The hose is retailing for just €15.
It’s part of the Parkside Range, which features power tools and gardening gear.
And the hose has a range of functions meaning you get a whole lot of value for money.

The hose has a sprinkler setting and a jet stream as well as a normal hose function and a mist spray.

THE HISTORY OF LIDL IN IRELAND
LIDL first opened in Germany in 1973.
Back then, it employed just three people, stocking 500 product lines.
The first Irish store, located just off Molesworth Street in Dublin, was opened in 1999.
This was Lidl’s first entry into the Irish grocery market.
Then, Lidl opened more stores in 2000, in Limerick, Letterkenny, Mullingar, Athlone, Cavan, Ballinasloe and Portlaoise.
Now, the retailer has over 180 stores and three distribution centres, employing over 6,000 people.
They work with a network of more than 260 Irish suppliers from the communities they operate in.
