‘I saw thousands of tortured people… so thin they swayed like branches in the wind’ – survivors gather to mark liberation of Auschwitz

The world’s focus will be on the remaining survivors of Nazi Germany’s atrocities today as world leaders join them for commemorations on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.
