Why we love it: Forty years ago, Reebok released the Club C 85 sneaker.

Featuring a leather upper and a terry material lining, the classic tennis shoe was a genderless footwear design.

Throughout the years, the straightforward sneaker style has been removed from and added back into the Reebok selection. These days, it has a pretty permanent spot on the Reebok Classics footwear roster.

Since its release in 1985, the Club C sneaker has been spotted on many a famous foot including (more recently) Ariana Grande, Emily Ratajkowski and Gigi Hadid. The shoes have also been a jumping-off point for several cool collaborations throughout the years.

For its 40th anniversary, the Club C sneaker is again hitting shelves, this time with a special celebratory collection.

The 40th Anniversary Reebok Club C 85 Vintage shoes feature ‘cult classic colours’ such as Energy Red and Hybrid Green acting as accent hues to the true-to-the-original, full grain white garment leather upper. Signature logos and custom detail on the heel add special markers of the anniversary style. 

The brand’s Club C 85 birthday shoes come with a commemorative box with a few added accessories to round out the special release. It’s a sneaker release that’s said to be for “true fans” of the Club Champion original designs.
