Chase has expanded its lounge network to eight locations with the opening of a new Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL). This expansive lounge features everything you need to relax, including a game room, beer garden, private rest pods, showers and curated food and beverages.

The opening of this location provides Chase Sapphire Reserve cardholders and other Priority Pass members access to a much-needed lounge at PHL. Below, CNBC Select breaks down everything you need to know about the new Philadelphia Chase Sapphire Lounge and how you can access it.

How to access Chase Sapphire Lounges

You can access Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club locations up to three hours before your flight’s departure with a Priority Pass membership and a valid boarding pass.

If you have the Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you’ll receive unlimited access to Sapphire Lounges for yourself and up to two guests ($27 per additional guest). However, non-Chase Priority Pass members only receive a single complimentary visit per calendar year (across the Sapphire Lounge network) and pay a discounted rate of $75 per guest or additional visit. Children under two years old can visit for free with an adult.

One exception to these rules is the Hong Kong Sapphire Lounge, which offers unlimited complimentary access to Priority Pass members (if your membership grants you unlimited complimentary visits).

Sapphire Reserve cardholders can add authorized users for $75 per year. Each authorized user can enroll to receive a Priority Pass membership and unlimited Sapphire Lounge access.

If you don’t have a Sapphire Reserve card, many other premium travel credit cards offer Priority Pass airport lounge access, such as The Platinum Card® from American Express or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. These cards offer complimentary Priority Pass Select membership and access to a range of other lounges (enrollment required). You’ll have access to American Express Centurion Lounges, *Delta Sky Clubs, Plaza Premium Lounges, Lufthansa Lounges and Escape Lounges. Terms apply.

*With Delta Sky Club Access, Card Members will receive 10 Visits to the Delta Sky Club to be used from February 1 until January 31 of the next calendar year and can unlock Unlimited Delta Sky Club Access by spending $75,000 in eligible purchases on their card in a calendar year.

The Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card is another viable alternative to the Sapphire Reserve. It offers unlimited access to Priority Pass lounges, Capital One Landing locations and Capital One Lounges. You can even add up to four authorized users for no additional fee and they can enroll to receive their own Priority Pass airport lounge access.

What to expect at the Philadelphia Chase Sapphire Lounge

The sprawling new 20,000-square-foot Chase Sapphire Lounge is located between Terminals D and E at Philadelphia International Airport. However, all of the airport’s terminals are connected airside, so travelers departing from any terminal can visit the lounge without needing to reclear security. The lounge is open from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

In addition to signature cocktails, soft drinks and wines, you can get your caffeine fix with locally roasted coffee from Elixr Coffee.
